Origami Jewellery
Claire Naa and Arnaud Soulignac created Origami Jewellery, inspired by the beauty of Japanese creativity. Origami is the art of folding paper to recreate animal shapes. They became passionate with it when their friend Masayuki Muraki taught them how to create limitless shapes. Imagination was the limit and Claire and Arnaud have plenty of it. They started to design jewels taking the shapes of origamis, using precious materials like sterling silver, silver gilt or gunmetal silver. To produce those unique pieces, they went all the way to Japan to find the sole manufacturers that would be able to reproduce precisely the fragile shapes. All the jewels are then finished in France.
L'Exception celebrates the talent of Origami Jewellery through a selection of animals: bat, elephant, mouse, crab, butterfly and cat in sterling silver.
